Protocol Settings - FTP

This page allows you to configure the settings for FTP.

Connection Time-Out
Set the connection time-out period of FTP. When the reception of data stops before receiving the entire data, the FTP connection to the printer will time out after the time period set here. The time-out period can be set between 1 and 1,000 seconds.
This setting will become valid after rebooting the printer from WebAdmin services or manually switching it off and then on again.

Password
When using a password to access FTP, enter the password in the text box. The password should be entered within 7 bytes. The characters that can be entered include alphanumeric characters, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).
The password is displayed in 5 asterisks (*), regardless of whether it has already been set or not.
To enter a password, delete all the asterisks and then enter the password.
To clear a password, leave the text box blank.
